Christ the King
Christ the King is a congregation which has been meeting at Widney Junior School since 1985. We meet every Sunday morning at 10.30am for worship and people of all ages are welcome to join us. We also offer baptism for people of any age.

We also hold a regular evening service at Phoenix House, Swallow Meadow, Shirley, B90 4PQ. Residents and Church members meet together for either a Communion Service or Evening Prayer.

Christ the King works in partnership with Widney Junior School and is able to offer support to the school in various ways. We host 'Messy Church' on the third Thursday of each month, between 3.30pm and 5pm. Parents, grandparents and children gather together and enjoy craft activities, Bible stories and songs and a picnic tea for everyone to share.

There are occasional joint events with the school - usually to celebrate festivals.
