Easter Worship in the garden at St John's
Alleluia! Christ is Risen! Happy Easter!
It was rather chilly at St John's at 6:30am, but we celebrated Easter sunrise with singing and great joy!
It was warmer by 10am, and after listening to the re-telling of the account of the first Easter morning, and breaking bread together, the second congregation also raised a merry noise, singing "Thine by the Glory" at full volume.
Displays in the porch of the St James' Church building reminded everyone who passed of the story of Holy Week and Easter.
The great Care Home Cake Bake
Over 200 cakes were baked and delivered to some of our local care homes on Maundy Thursday - a great team effort, showing God's love in our community.
