Services of Prayer for Healing

Our monthly Healing Service is an opportunity to pray especially for those who are sick or suffering in any way.

On Sunday 18th October we will be celebrating St Luke, who was both a doctor and the author of Luke's Gospel and the account of the Acts of the Apostles. The services online and in the St James Church building will include prayers for healing and wholeness.

If would like to join in online, you will find the service on our YouTube channel here. (Please select Morning Worship for 18th October from the options available.) The order of service is here, and the additional liturgy, readings and sermon can be downloaded from here. If you enable subtitles, the responses will come up on your screen. The hymns are We cannot measure how you heal and Go forth and tell!

An audio only version of the Sunday service can be accessed by dialling 0121 270 9089 (local rate call*). The service will be available until the following Wednesday.

If you would like to attend the short, said service of Holy Communion in the St James' Church building at 11am on 18th October, please phone the Parish Office (0121 745 8896) on Thursday 15th October (9:30am - 12:30pm) to book a place. Please note that due to Covid-19 restrictions, places are limited to 25. Sadly we unable to offer anointing at this time.

*Charges at usual rate for 0121 numbers from your location.
