As Christians we try to follow Jesus' teaching to "love your neighbour as yourself".

On this page you will find more information on some of the social and community action projects which we are involved with.
Tuesday Welcome Cafe

Our Welcome Café on Tuesday mornings is part of the Places of Welcome network. It takes place in Church House (Church Road, Shirley – opposite St James Church) from 10am till 11:30am every Tuesday. We offer a cup of tea or coffee, some delicious home made cake and some good company.
Everyone is welcome – whether you come every week or just occasionally. There is no charge (although donations are gratefully received).
We are proud of our links with Hazel Oak Special School – some of the students from the school often join us on café mornings. It’s a great opportunity to get to know them.

Every now and again we will hold a special charity morning where information is available and funds are raised for particular charities.

We look forward to welcoming you!
